GIF Frame Splitter

Break an animation into frames to catch anything that flashes past too quickly to read.

Frames that go by too fast

An animation can hold a frame for as little as a hundredth of a second. Played back, that frame is a barely perceptible flicker; stepped through one at a time, it is perfectly readable. Caches use this to show coordinates that nobody can write down while the picture is moving.

The timing table is the quickest way to find one. Frames in an ordinary animation share a delay; a single frame with a much shorter one was put there deliberately, and is almost always the one carrying the message.
